No matter what the genre, Less is More is my preferred music style in performing or for therapeutic music.  I took up with the ukulele 5 years ago to bring a happy, harmonious accompaniment for memory care sing a-longs.   With only 4 strings, instead of 36 to 52 strings like my harps, and weighing less than 3 lbs, it quickly became a favorite instrument of mine.  While I was seeking more overtones for therapeutic music, I discovered the harp ukulele.

Harp Ukulele combines the sweet ukulele sound with harp like resonance and overtones. Christina Cotruvo’s article Harp Ukulele for Therapeutic Music in the Folk Harp Journal Summer 2020 issue:  Harp Ukulele_Folk Harp Journal Summer 2020 article
